Code of Conduct

Into Design Systems is a global community that brings people together to learn, build and share. We want all of our events, meetups, jams and online spaces to be welcoming, inclusive and safe for everyone.
This Code of Conduct applies to all activities under Into Design Systems. This includes conferences, vibe coding jams, workshops, meetups, Slack or online communities and all interactions on our platforms.
1. Our Commitment
We are committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment where everyone feels welcome, regardless of background, identity, gender identity, sexual orientation, experience level, location or abilities.
We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination or exclusionary behaviour in any form.
Our goal is to make every participant feel safe, respected and valued.
2. Expected Behaviour
To help create a positive experience for everyone, we expect all participants to:
✔ Be respectful
Listen actively, be kind in discussions and treat others with courtesy.
✔ Be inclusive
Acknowledge different perspectives, identities and communication styles. Make space for others and encourage participation.
✔ Support a safe learning environment
Help create conversations that are open, constructive and free from judgement.
✔ Use technology responsibly
Share knowledge and help others learn. Respect the flow of the event and the work of speakers and organisers.
✔ Represent your company or personal brand professionally
Be mindful that you are part of a community space.
3. Unacceptable Behaviour
The following behaviours will not be tolerated in any IDS event or community space:
🚫 Harassment or discrimination
This includes but is not limited to:
- offensive comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion or appearance
- deliberate intimidation or stalking
- unwanted private messages
- sexual harassment or inappropriate content in any form
🚫 Disruptive behaviour
- interrupting or talking over others
- belittling comments or condescending tone
- trolling, spamming or intentionally derailing discussions
- aggressive or hostile behaviour online or in person
🚫 Unwanted promotion
- pitching products or services without being invited
- using sessions or community spaces primarily for sales
Speakers are expected to focus on teaching and sharing knowledge.
4. Reporting and Support
If you experience or witness any unacceptable behaviour, please report it as soon as possible.
How to report
- Email the event team at support@intodesignsystems.com
- For live online events you can reach out to an organiser in the chat
- If you prefer to stay anonymous, let us know and we will respect that
All reports are taken seriously, handled confidentially and reviewed promptly.
5. Consequences
Depending on the situation, the event team may take any of the following actions:
✔ A private or public warning
✔ Removal from the current session or event
✔ Removal from community spaces
✔ Ban from future Into Design Systems events or platforms
Our priority is to protect the safety and well being of all participants.

We care deeply about this community and want every attendee, speaker, sponsor and volunteer to feel safe, welcomed and supported.
